Fall Update

OUR FRESH SUPPLY OF FISH IS IN!

Preorders have shipped and we have a few extra items. Halibut won't be available again until next spring, so if you're a fan, stock up now.

We are so thankful to each and every one of you. Many of you have purchased our salmon for years. Thank you for your loyalty and love of good fish.

We will continue to offer our sockeye salmon throughout the year, while supplies last.

This is the freshest fish of the year- it tastes like it was caught yesterday! It's vacuum packed and will remain in excellent condition for a year in your freezer.

When you choose Smart Source Seafood, you are supporting an Alaskan fishing family and other small boat fishermen that take great pride in their catch and quality. We offer you seafood with a story and a connection to the catch you enjoy at home.

I've had the pleasure of chatting with many of you on the phone the past month. Smart Source Seafood is unique because when you call for help, you'll always talk to me. It brings us great joy to hear how much you love our fish!

Did you know our wild Alaska salmon is sushi-grade and safe to eat raw? It's one of our favorite ways to enjoy it!
UPDATE FROM THE HOMESTEAD
We've had an exciting, full start to the fall.

I went on a much anticipated trip to Europe in early September with four girlfriends. We hiked the Tour du Mont Blanc, a 10-day, 105 mile backpacking trip circumnavigating Mont Blanc. The scenery was stunning and the food fabulous. I highly recommend this trip to anyone with an adventurous spirit.

While I was away, Mike headed north to moose hunt with his uncle and cousin from Washington. They scored a huge moose and made lots of memories. We are thankful to have a freezer full of wild fish and game.

My mom came from Texas to take care of the kids. They all had a blast and it was a win for everyone!

It's already chilly here in Alaska. We've had a couple hard frosts, but no snow yet. We typically get some before Halloween, so it's coming soon.

Thanks again to everyone for choosing our family to be your fishermen.
